{"id":1951,"date":"2017-02-08T17:59:52","date_gmt":"2017-02-08T16:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pcll.ac-dijon.fr\/eole\/?p=1951"},"modified":"2017-02-08T17:59:52","modified_gmt":"2017-02-08T16:59:52","slug":"hackathon-compte-rendu-13-creation-dimages-opennebula-via-saltstack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcll.ac-dijon.fr\/eole\/hackathon-compte-rendu-13-creation-dimages-opennebula-via-saltstack\/","title":{"rendered":"Hackathon : compte rendu 1\/3 \u00ab cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;images OpenNebula via saltstack \u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>L&rsquo;objectif de cet atelier \u00e9tait de d\u00e9ployer une infrastructure de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d&rsquo;images fresh install avec l&rsquo;outil SaltStack.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/saltstack.com\/\">https:\/\/saltstack.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Le travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 divis\u00e9 en 3 sous-ateliers :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>G\u00e9n\u00e9rer une image master depuis l\u2019ISO EOLE ;<\/li>\n<li>G\u00e9n\u00e9rer une image EOLE depuis une Ubuntu cloud ;<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9ployer et configurer une image master existante.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Voici le compte rendu du premier sous-atelier.<\/p>\n<h2>G\u00e9n\u00e9rer une image master depuis l\u2019ISO EOLE<\/h2>\n<p>Les composants Salt Master et Salt Minion sont install\u00e9s sur une machine virtuelle :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pas de minion sur le host ;<\/li>\n<li>utilisation de l&rsquo;API Salt Cloud ;<\/li>\n<li>r\u00e9utilisation de l&rsquo;existant pour l&rsquo;automatisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Automatisation<\/h3>\n<p>Cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;un sls (fichier de recettes Salt) sur le master dont le r\u00f4le est de r\u00e9aliser les actions suivantes :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>gestion de PPA ;<\/li>\n<li>installation de vnsdotools ;<\/li>\n<li>installation de Git ;<\/li>\n<li>clonage du d\u00e9p\u00f4t hapy-automatisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les diff\u00e9rentes actions \u00e9tant interd\u00e9pendantes, le sls est cr\u00e9\u00e9 en fonction.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 ce stade, la difficult\u00e9 est l&rsquo;utilisation du PPA existant de vncdotools qui n&rsquo;est plus maintenu :<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~sibson\/+archive\/ubuntu\/vncdotool\">https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~sibson\/+archive\/ubuntu\/vncdotool<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>G\u00e9n\u00e9ration d&rsquo;images<\/h3>\n<p>Elle est cens\u00e9e se faire en deux \u00e9tapes, le but \u00e9tant de faire appel \u00e0 l&rsquo;API Salt Cloud :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>cr\u00e9ation du template OpenNebula ;<\/li>\n<li>gestion du menu du CD d&rsquo;installation EOLE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le travail consistait principalement \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation du template OpenNebula car le second \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 avec hapy-automatisation.<\/p>\n<p>Malheureusement l&rsquo;API Salt Cloud est incompl\u00e8te, elle ne permet de g\u00e9rer que les param\u00e8tres memory, cpu et vcpu. La tentative de passer des param\u00e8tres suppl\u00e9mentaire s&rsquo;est sold\u00e9e par un \u00e9chec, ceux-ci \u00e9tant \u00e9cras\u00e9s \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration du template. L&rsquo;utilisation de Salt Call a permis de faire du d\u00e9bogage&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Le seul contournement trouv\u00e9 est de cr\u00e9er un template dans l&rsquo;interface Sunstone puis de l&rsquo;appeler dans le processus global.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>L&rsquo;objectif initial n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint.
